The past couple of running mornings have been dreadful. I feel tired and sluggish, like my body parts aren’t quite connected. Maybe it’s a sign that I am tired in general or that the end of training is nigh (I love that word. Always wanted to use it). I have to muster energy for my final long run before Covered Bridges. I hope my body will work with me. I am going to run a 12-miler, basically the CHaD course, on Sunday. I’m downloading some fun running podcasts to try to keep my motivated. Funnily enough, I have started listening to a running podcast called Phedippidations (can get it on iTunes) and I think the guy who does it is originally from Weymouth. He was referencing Weymouth farm league baseball and some other tidbits that seem to point to a South Shore upbringing. He’s much older than me so I don’t recognize the name.
Anyway, feel free (please?) to drop me some words of encouragement to keep me motivated and on the sunny side of life.

Always look on the bright side of life!
OMG. The next time I’m tied to a crucifix, I will fondly remember your kind words.

Could be worse?
yes it could be worse. I could feel more like the “Bring Out Your Dead” skit. Trust Monty Python to capture all of life’s special moments.
