I just realized the House finale has come and gone.  Did anyone see it?  The community seems to think it was a success although I admit I only browsed the first page.  Maybe after that the hate begins.  The torrent is MIA so far but I will check it out when I can.  My only experience with torrenting current shows is with Top Gear, which is typically and mercifully up the next day, so I’m surprised this one is still missing 3 days out.

On the subject of big TV using these cameras, news is that the shows Californication and True Blood are tentatively dipping their toes into the HDSLR waters as well.  Nothing like House with full episodes, but they’ll be in the mix somewhere.  I’m not familiar with the David Duchovny vehicle (though I’ve always been mildly intrigued) but I am a true fan of the True Blood.  Alex turned me onto it shortly after the end of the first season, and in delicious post-season fashion, I pushed through the whole thing in a matter of days.  The first few episodes left me a little cold but I soldiered on and it picked up quickly.  Amy initially stuck to the books the series is based on, but I was able to lure her in to the show proper as well.  I think she still prefers the books and I’m sure they’re better.  She picked up the new book 10 last night actually.  While I don’t think the words ‘the movie/tv show was better’ have ever been uttered when referring to a book adaptation, I’m content with my talkies.  Yeah, so just one more reason for me to look forward to the show picking back up this summer.  Sookie!
