Now that I have a filtered corner of the blog to myself, I can start defiling it with impunity. It’s on and poppin.

I saw this video over on Gizmodo.  As someone who recently started putting video together, I’ve watched some interesting tutorials on green screening but I had no idea it was taken this far today in broadcast TV.  To be fair though, and this isn’t anti-TV snobbery, I haven’t seen much in the last 5 years.  Some of these shots are obviously fake and others, I guess it’s cheaper to have one guy sitting in an editing bay, rotoscoping, than send some folks out to a real courthouse? Well, I suppose there’s some level of control that comes with the technique too.
