I got this photo app for my phone the other day called ShakeItPhoto that simulates the development process of the old Poloroids on your iPhone shots. This just happened to be the one I was aware of but it seems there are others. Maybe some have more doodads but this one is very simple and I like that you can apply the effect to shots taken without the app as well as integrating well with the phone album. Quick and easy.
I thought I would hate the camera feature on my phone, and I think I would have on an older feature phone where getting them off would be a painintheass. But being able to instantly email photos out from the same interface is pretty convenient. I get angry with my real camera for being so stupid. So fancy with the HD video but you can’t email pics, can you.
I took this snap while I was in CA and I ran in through the filter. Instant good!
I think this one I took in the app, then selected it again and re-ran it, giving it that nice inset border and slightly overcooked effect.

dude mute math sucks, you are right about the new KOC album though
No no, ShakeItPhoto. What’s Mute Math?
KoC will be featured shortly.
you’ll have to explain in simple person terms what this photo feature does. Does it just add a border to the pics, making them look like Poloroids?
It adds the border and it changes the shape from a rectangle to a square. Those two things make a huge difference alone. On top of that it increases the contrast, among many other things, to give it the visual quality of the old poloroids.
Just look at the two top images. Everything that is different was done by the app.
I really like sending a photo through twice because it takes the look even further.
