Amy can attest to the brooding I engage in when I don’t have my window seat. Having a 180° view of everything in front of the plane would be a dream come true. I wish they had cameras on the plane exterior that would allow passengers to see more stuff. I’d fly that airline exclusively, regardless of cost.

I always did want to be a pilot. I think it goes hand in hand with my desire to operate machines. Cars, boats, bulldozers. I love it all. Staring out at the cloud cover for 14 hours might get old quickly though. It’s not like with a car where you’re constantly making corrections and dealing with traffic. There didn’t seem to be extended footage of the plane flying itself for hours over the ocean in this video as I suspect it does most of the time.

Sounds like people hate the song on the video. Can’t say I’ve heard it before but it might get annoying if I heard it everywhere.

Also, I thought the use of electronics during take-off and landing was prohibited. Especially in the cockpit where all the equipment is located. Must be an antique film camera….
