Our tomatoes started showing signs of red last week, much to our excitement. Tonight we picked the first one. Perhaps it’s a little premature but we couldn’t resist. A little dash of salt – mmmmm.
We’ve been trimming herbs for a while now for dinners. Amy made a nice pesto and herb butters over the weekend but this is the first real product you can sink your teeth in to.
Maybe we’ll have enough for me to rock another of my famous red sauces.
