I baked a loaf of Harvest Grain bread this weekend. It was easy, now that I have the technique down. Takes only about 10 min of active time, then time to leave it to rise. My plan is to bake a loaf (or two) for the week and never have to buy bread again. I am going to get 3-4 recipes under my belt and then move on to rolls. It is a very soothing activity for Sunday mornings and the best part is you know everything that goes into the bread and can control the ingredients. I encourage everyone to take a class and learn the technique and watch how much money you will save not buying store-bread (even locally made bread).
