I like this guy Philip Bloom.  He’s a DP, among other things, out of England and he’s become quite popular on the DSLR video scene.  I understand he’s been doing a lot of TV and stuff for a while but I only became aware of him after I got the mk2 and started cruising forums.  I like him because he’s active in the community and he’s always willing to help.  He seems to have a really good sense of humor too.

He’s been hitting the timelapse pipe pretty hard in his recent personal projects and friends stepped in to intervene.

It took me about 30 seconds to realize it was fictional because he made it sound like he was genuinely tricked into doing a tutorial in his description of it.  So I was prepared to be entertained by how they cleverly edited it to make him look crazy.  I was like, oh he likes watching his own movies too just like me!!!…. oooooh, wait he’s acting crazy.  And then I was entertained by him acting crazy.  Then I realized it was a parody of the A&E show Intervention that I sadly have never seen.  It looks epic.

The line about how he used to do timelapse by recording at regular time and then speeding it up is genius.
