It’s weird, I heard this somewhere recently and now there’s an animated representation of it somewhere else entirely. Could be that I actually heard it on RadioLab. Robert Krulwich is a host on the always excellent radio show.

One of their episodes nearly brought me to tears, so I sent them money. RadioLab is the only ‘public’ show and/or station I’ve ever given money too. Now of course they won’t stop begging. 🙂
