Amy and I are signed up for The Prouty cancer research bike ride this summer. It’s something we’ve both wanted to do for a while but our schedule has never allowed.  We both know friends our own age who are currently fighting cancer and I personally haven’t done enough about it in the past.

My co-worker’s wife, Ann, has struggled on and off with her own cancer battle and they have a veteran team called the Big Green Pazooie. We’ve jumped on board.  You can see they’ve set an ambitious goal for themselves this year.  With a team recruitment goal of 100 people, that averages out to $1000 per member.  While our personal commitment is only $150(ea), I would very much like to surpass that by as large a margin as possible.
