Running Around

I haven’t written in a couple weeks since not much is new in my running world.  Spent the last couple weeks slowly getting back to my base, ran a lovely 8 mile around Lake Morey last Friday.  I started a training program yesterday to improve my 10k time.  I am going to run a Turkey Trot 10k in November which will most likely be my final race of this season.  This month I am running a 5 mile race, in October I am running the Harpoon Octoberfest 3.6 miler (of which I will enter my 5k time into the World Wide Festival of Races).  I will be joining the gym again this winter and working towards improving my 5k time in preparation for the Shamrock Shuffle in March, which usually kicks off my racing season.  I will keep posting until my November race and then probably take a break over the winter unless something interesting running-related happens.  Hoping to get into the Covered Bridges half marathon again (registration opens for like 20 min on an evening in December).  I am also going to sign up for the Bay State half marathon in Lowell for October 2011.  Supposed to be a good, fast course.  Started listening to some different running podcasts: Runlikehealth and 4 Feet Running.  Interesting listening.
