Beautiful weather this Memorial Day weekend. Ben and I hit the road yesterday for a long bike ride from Lyme to Hanover and back. Today did a 5 mile run. Sunny and warm. Seven days until Covered Bridges. The countdown begins! I’m getting nervous, realizing that field-wise, this is the biggest race I’ve even run, with between 1800 and 2000 runners. This may also be a race with a bit of sitting around before the start, which I don’t much like. I like getting there in enough time to use the potty then off we go. Oh well. It will be a good experience anyway. Let’s all pray for somewhat cloudy and in the low 70’s for weather. For my peeps out there who have been following me along this journey (all three of you) please feel free to impart any motivational or inspirational words of wisdom for the upcoming weekend.
